Zaino to the Rescue

I posted in June because a detailer had put swirls all over my red G35 coupe. I rec'd some good suggestions. The best was Zaino. It was more work than Crystal Guard, but definitely worth the effort. You have to really look for the marks now. The car doesn't get as dusty, and it's "drop dead" shiny. Thanks for your help.

I knew Zaino would work! Yes it is alot of work, but the final results are well worth it!!! Did you make your hubby do it? LOL

It's only a lot of work the first time you do it. After that each additional coat takes about 15 minutes to put on and maybe 20 to take off.

Re: Zaino to the Rescue

No mon ami. We did it together. From start to finish it took most of the day. A friend w/ a G35 Coupe couldn't resist coming over to HELP. He has always used CG. He was very impressed.............with the results, and it's hard to impress him when it comes to his car. He takes such good care of it. The love of my life has the day off and he's out washing the car now. Then he'll use his detailing spray for awhile. His favorite toy is that Cal. Duster. I wish he enjoyed dusting the house as much. I sound like a Zaino salesman. However, my opinion of the product is very favorable. We just ordered some for my brother- in- law, after he saw our car. Unfortunately, we will be helping him with his big mother Envoy.

Re: Zaino to the Rescue

how many coats did you put on? for me, i think 4-5 was the magic number where you could see a rather shocking difference. i think i've gotten as high as 12 before...

i usually put 3-4 z-5 coats and then about 2-3 z-2's.

to be honest though, of all of sal zaino's products, i like his tire dressing (really any plastic/rubber trim piece) the best. i believe it is z-16.
