How to remove bird poop?

Couple of months ago, I bought a G35 from an auction. Really cheap price I got it for, knowing it had bird poop stains on the engine hood and trunk hood.

Now, I want to address the issue. But is it too late? Waxing doesn't do anything. Neither do car washes. There are multiple spots on the engine hood and trunk hood. Quite embarrassing when people see your car during the daytime.

So what can I do? Or is it just too late now? Could of happened anytime in the past 6 years of my 2006 G35's existence.

can you show us some pix? Lets see how bad it is. It might be too late for you if the bird poop has been sitting in the paint for a while.

Most likely it's etched into the clear. I also bought a car with a few bird crap issues. I tried a really aggressive compound (Meguiar's M105) and had no luck. You will probably have to wet sand it down and refinish the areas. At least that's what I will have to do.

From: Waltham Ma,
If they are stains, They are there for good, Went into ot through the clear coat, There is tons of acid in bird, poop.. I keep a bottle of window cleaner and a mirco fiber cloth in the car at all times, If I see poop I clean it right off, Can never let it sit on the car, ,

Same^ quick detailer and a microfiber for bug guts and bird poop. That stuff will etched into clear coat faster than you'd think.

try to use a more abrasive compound on it like a metal polish but use lightly.

If its old poop itll be hard. Fresh poop on the othee hand try to eliminate quickly. I just use water and wash it off while not touching.
