Im looking to get the Zaino polish and need some help.. I just got my car about 1 month ago and it is black.. What products should I order.. Iv seen people order the Z-5 , Z-2, then the Z-6.. Is that what I need???

 

ZFX recommended, Z2, Z6, Z7, Z18 recommended, dawn dish soap. In reality, brand new car, you could buy z2 only, but if you really want to see what's possible (and incredible), read the zaino website and follow the instructions. Wash with dawn, clay bar the entire car, wash and rinse, Z2 with zfx, z6, z2 w/zfx, z6, z2 w/zfx, z6. wash with z7 thereafter. z6 to restore from time to time or when your heart desires. I promise you'll be impressed. Don't use a sponge to wash, use a lambs wool mitt or microfibre cloth. chamois to dry. white towels for the polish work.
At this point I've tried almost everything they sell, less the z1 and z3 (neither req'd). It's all good- the plastic polish, leather care products and the tire dressing... If you bought all the same stuff from Mothers or Maguires it would end up costing the same. I figure if I can afford the car, I should be able to afford to take care of it.

Thank you soooo much for that info.. It realy helps me.. So i will order the Z-2, Z-5,Z-6 and maybe the tire car products.. Il get the microfiber for drying and the lamb wool for washing.. Thank you for your imput..

 

If you don't get ZFX, you will need Z1. Hmm, maybe I'll post my Zaino FAQ that I made for another site here.

Also since you car is new, and if it is not black, you don't need Z5. Just wash your car correctly to avoid swirlmarks.

I do Z1 - Z2 with ZFX - Z6. Then repeat the Z2 & Z6 two more times for a total of 3 applications. The shine is unbelievable! It will take you a long afternoon if the humidity is low - a couple of days if the humidity is high. And yes, wash the car the very first time ONLY with Dawn dish washing soap.
