Scratches and minor problems w/ paint and interior. need a solution!

hello all
i will write this really simple.
i have minor scratches on my paint (very light) but i can see them.
i think i got those scratches when i enter the car w/ like...the key on my hand, nails, etc.
is there any way to remove this scratches?

also when i enter the car, i hit my side door from inside, where you can put little stuffs on the side, w/ my shoes so often and it damaged the plastic portion of the side door from inside. (basicllay, a scratch)

not the best way to ask for a help w/o pictures but if it's necessary, i will.
just wondered if i can do something for those. i thought of touch-up paints but i felt that it's better to ask experts out there instead of just doing it.
thx

what you want to do is wash the car in the shade by hand of course... im takling clean! then wipe it down with a nice perhaps even new shammy to dry i thouroughly. then once the car is in the shade, washed and completely dry.. go buy some mothers scratch and swirl remover. put a small amount on a new clean terry towel and rub it in using small circles and let it sit for a few seconds. then wipe off the remover with another clean/new terry towel. trust me it works. ive done the same holding keys in my hand when i open the door. just remember not to do it anymooore. o and get the scratch remover prior to the start of washing the car. you dont want to drive it around once its been cleaned. ENJOY the G!

If the mothers scratch and swirl remover doesn't work to your satisfaction, you can try TurtleWax Color Cure. Simply select the wax color that meets as close as possible your car color and apply a thick coat on the scratches. Let fully dry and buff off the wax. Then use your preffered wax (I personally use Maguiar's NXT Tech Wax) and wax the entire pannel or better yet, the whole car. This will last a few weeks to a few months. When the scratches reapears, repeat the above steps...

Yes, the TurtleWax Color Cure is only temporary.

For the inside plastic scratches - there isn't much that can be done; however, a good coat of ArmorAll should help mask the damage.

i agree... the coat of armorall will help the interior but not restore it. i dont know how deep the scrarch on the paint is but if its small then mothers will hook it up and probablly will never see it again. i use eagle one wax as you dry every time i wash my car and its amazing. keeps the paint safe, clean and really shiny. if its a deep scratch you may need to resort to a small amount of touch up paint and a good buff job after. thats if u never wanna see it again. good luck. post pics so we can see the before and after.

For the paint best products that will actually reduce the swirls and scratches (not just hide them) is the Poorboy's World Super Swirl Remover (SSR) 2.5 followed by the SSR 1.0. Both abrasive polishes will help reduce the scratches and brighten the clear coat.
