I usually wash my towels separate depending on what they were used for. Door jambs, tires, etc towels are washed separately from my drying and polish/wax removal towels.

Also make sure you use dye/perfume free detergent (should also use liquid detergents only) and no fabric softner. You can throw them in the dryer but make sure it's on low heat.

Microfiber Towels

First off the instructions with my towels say to wash them in cool water.
Sooooo it doesn't matter if you wash colors togeather (my wife told me)
I wait until my wife is gone then I wash all my microfiber towels then my
applicator pads and if needed I wash my golf clubs in the kitchen sink.
That really pisses her off! (what she doesn't know) My micro towels
are made by Zymol and cost $6.00 each so I take really good care of them.
Even to the extreem of keeping them in air tight bags...crazy I know.

$6/towel... damn dude. Well I must admit the towels I use and sell are around $15-20 retail (waffle weave) and my lowest priced towels go for $2/pc. as for mixing dirty *** towels that have junk that can scratch your paint with your drying/polishing towels... I don't do it simply for peace of mind and the fact that MF towels grip onto junk and don't release as easily.

I wash them by themselves and with regular fabric cleaner. DO NOT ADD FABRIC SOFTNER. I also recommend storing them somwhere where they won't collect dust and other debris. I keep mine in a rubbermaid container.

Just curious if you add fabric softner to the MF towels, are the towels now useless and must be thrown in the garbage?

I would just throw them back in the washer for another cleaning cycle and i think they would be fine.

Costco MF towels any good?

Has anyone tried the MF towels they sell at Costco? They're the yellow ones that cost like ~$10 for 20 towels.

Yes, these are excellent for washing and removing wax. I have been using the said for the past 7 months without any issues.

Yup! They're cheap and they're good. I remove wax, polish, and sealant with those.
