How much time before you can apply additional coats of Z-2, Z-5? I've been hearing 6 hours up to 24 hours!!! How about you guys?

 

I think you mixing up the curing time for the polish to dry. Without ZFX with HIGH humidity on a cold day it can take up to 6 hours to dry. With ZFX it takes 15 minutes.

You can reapply up 4 coats there after, from what I've heard. Personally after 4 coats, I want to call it quits.

thanks a lot. another question. say six months down the line you want to polish ur car again...do you need to start all over again with dawn?

 

Nope it's just a one time thing. You don't want to use dawn two many times on your car.

The only other time I would use dawn if I wanted to clay my car, or had to use some other wax or polish/cleaner to remove big scratches or residues.

you only use dawn once and thats the time you remove any old wax from your car and replace it with zaino. you should never nor have any need to use dawn again.

 

What do you mean after it dries remove it? I thought that you apply a coat of zaino and then after it dries apply another coat.

Do you mean after it dries, wash your car again? I hope not.

You can do 1 coat at a time and call it a day. If you want to do more than 1 coat in a day you wait for one to dry, remove that coat, spray your car with Z6, and put another coat on.

Oh, I must be stupid. When you guys say remove it, you mean to polish the residue of the wax off. Like the whitish stuff?
