Does anyone know any place in around Dallas (635+35east) to mount/demount tires onto the rim without scratching them? I know there's Pro Tuning Performance, but it's really really far from Dallas x.x

I would shy from Lonestar... they had a great reputation 5 or 6 years ago and it's become very bad of recent... including multiple bad tunes and a recent blowing of a customer's Ford GT on their dyno while tuning it

hence the reason I said buying parts from them since they are pretty much the only ones locally that stock AN fittings and stainless lines..most hot rod shops typically will but this was the one mentioned by alot of individuals I spoke with about having those specific pieces always in stock

hmmm I might need a couple 90 degree AN 10 fittings before the auto-x this weekend, my designs were off since I thought I would be able to rotate the oil block adapter more, now I have a line going straight down. it sits lower than my bumper so now driving is scary. will be bad when I put the 18s back on for tracking.

touche and understood... for me, service is service. sure, they can't screw up the part they sell you, but if you have problems, who knows how helpful they will be... and not saying your post was bad or anything, just making my fellow enthusiasts aware of concerns about a shop... never hurts to be a little cautious with so many bad shops around these days

I understand. I just mentioned those fittings since this weekend rob, stephen, and myself were hunting to try and finish up some things and sure enough it held us back.......I dont know the show for performance purposes so thats why I didnt mention. funny thing is there right by matchless performance who blew up my first motor and they had never heard of them.

Yea, that's definitely good to know. Lonestar has been a primarily Ford shop for a long time and their current location is just around the corner from my house . And for those that didn't know or care for the history lesson, Lonestar is the company that worked with ATI to tune the very first G with the ATI Procharger on it... Robert (theeggman) had that car for years. Grubbs donated the car to be used. Another sad auto with boost... oh wait (lol j/k)
