I'm gonna build them I think.. I'll probably end up charging around $300 but it will be a bar that goes between the b-pillars at about shoulder level.

lol.. I can weld. I fixed my coolant pipe and I did a bunch of practice welding on random metal parts.
my biggest issue right now is living in an apartment complex, I can't get a welder in my garage because I don't have access to the breaker box so I can't add a high voltage line.
also the 120 socket they give me has a gfci on it that will trip if I'm using the drill press and the vacuum, doubt it would support a welder at 120

Thanks, it goes in the valley where the intake sits, just bolt it in and attach the chains and youre good to go.

Yea I figured that much, I helped a buddy pull his ls out of his camaro. That would have helped

It does, I dont like the idea of having to drop it from the bottom, or having the chains pressed up against the heads and scratching it all up etc.

That looks good jack. We have the smaller one that's on 6 bolts I think sittin on the engine for the 59. Just make sure u get the leveling tool if ur planning on putting in the tranny and block at same time

Yeah I plan on getting that too, when it comes down to actually having to throw it all in... Im gonna need a lot of tools I will probably wont use ever again...
