07 G35X Etown times - from 6/1/07
Temp. was 92 degrees. Til I can scan them later (our scanner at work is broke!) i'll write down everything. 6 runs worth of data. and this is my first time racing in 4 years, and first time racing an automatic car and an AWD car.

My car = totally stock, 1/2 tank of gas, me = 180 lbs, car weighed in at 3964
Don't know anything about the vette or 3rd gen stang, didn't see under the hood or nothing.
Grand Am had intake, seats removed, exhaust
Crown Vic had intake, exhaust, MSD ignition
5th Gen Stang had K&N intake, Borla exhaust, MSD ignition, maybe more?
So there you go. 6 runs, pretty consistent. Just gotta get back into racing and get my reaction time below .1 all the time.
edit - can't get columns to line up properly, someone wanna tell me what i should do?

When you roll into stage barely turn on the stage bulb.. Dont roll all the way in or dont deep stage. By doing this it gives you a lower ET and more mph. The farther you go in, the less track you have. Since your running all wheel drive, pump your tires up to max pressure so you only have as little of tire touching as possible. Less friction.. Best of luck and remember happiness is a low ET

i ran the tires at 32 psi. i'm used to deflating tires for traction. should try 40psi next time you think? like i said, i've never raced an auto OR and AWD before, so this was a learning experience.
Oh, and the runs alternate between DS and me shifting, DS the first vette run, me the second, and so on.
As for the weight, curb weight is 3704. SO 3704 + 180 (me) + 60 (rough weight of 10 gallons of gas) = 3944. where were the extra 20 lbs?

Nice runs, especially in the warmer weather. I calculated out the density altitude for June 1st. Since the track opens at 5pm and racing probably starts around 6pm and goes till around 10pm?, I estimated the temps to be in the mid 80s to mid 70s as the night progressed. The DA appears to have ranged from about 1800' down to around 1300'. No great conditions, but definitely not horrible. Overall, the conditions were sucking about .1-.2 seconds and 1 to 1.5 mph out of your car. The saving grace of E-town is it's sea level position.
That Crown Vic must have had something done to it because high 13s are not happening in a Crown Vic without some type of forced induction. They're a higher 15-second car stock and it takes a good bit of power to move it's 4,300lb mass down the track in the upper 13s.

I have strongly considered driving my car up the east coast so I could run it at ETown and a couple of tracks in Maryland.
I raced a z a few times back in March in Georgia. He was trapping low 98's to my low-to-mid 101's in the heat. That same car at ETown was trapping mid 100's in some mild heat. Don't know the exact conditions, but it wasn't cool.

Nice runs. One thing I am noticing about all these 07 sedans are the lower 60' times by everyone. I remember the 1st gen cars were higher (alot of 2.3s and 2.4s). Some poeple were able to get lower 60; times but I mean the general public.
I ran my 04 6mt at e-town and was pretty consistent 14.6-14.7 at 96. 60' times were 2.4.

After KCIR was resurfaced back in 2004, my Maxima went from consistent 14.7s@96mph down to 14.5s@96mph with no changes to the car (same DA conditions) or 60', shift points, etc. Most all other racers noted that their cars were .2 seconds quicker after the resurfacing too.

With the same car and same mods in 50 degree weather at Kansas City International Raceway (my home track), the best the car could ever muster was 13.7s@101mph. That's when I realized that some tracks are simply quicker than others with no legit excuse as to why.

I'm sure an 07 G35X can run 14 flat in idea conditions. Maybe even sneak into the 13's with a good driver & track.
I'm also sure the 07 G35S can hit 13.5 with a good driver over at those east coast tracks. We need some of those east coast tracks over at Cali!
