Derek,

You are making me wonder what I would run at your track... do you miss our SoCal tracks?

I will update the list soon. Almost done with finals

umm no about the tracks but I do miss the scene out there. I've learned alot and had fun with you socal guys.

I know you would be low 13's for sure out here. I'm running as fast as I was turbocharged. My best FI is 13.03 at CS my best N/A was 14.4 out there.

Have there been any track events lately out there?

nope... you're gone, Wally has a diff car, Vlad has a diff car (they don't go that I know of)... me & Henry are the only die-hards left and we haven't even been going

I'll get at least one day in before cold months are over... I need to see how much slower the pig heavy rotors are making me (feels much slower!)

are they that heavy I'm thinking about picking up some akebonos. Did the 2-piece rotors come out yet?

they are pig heavy! Fronts are 30 lbs (OEM about 19, drilled & slotted OCautosport I think were close to 15)... they look real cool and stop great - should be great for road course... I got them for looks, but also because I had brake fade on the Roval (AAA Speedway road course) and went off track into grassy area (thankfully not a wall).... I'm sure these wont fade like the OCAS I had at the time.

2-piece arent looking so good thus far... StopTech says they wont release unless they can make 2-piece rear, but that has been a struggle for everyone because of the parking brake drum... CZP has gone through 2 incarnations and havent got it done, now they are waiting for DBA to make them (or try)... RB supposedly has fronts (but not rears), however, I havent seen any on a car yet.

So for Drag Racing I would not recommend... for road course and good looks, they are great. I have my OEM so I can always throw them on if I need to race for pinks
