Man, if I could get your 60' time, I'd be running 12's for sure and high 11's to low 12's with slicks! Great job. That's a high trap for an NA G.

sorry I missed your post

well acceleration is amazing but it can be a little tough starting off sometimes. They sell the clutch and Flywheel for $1400 and I do all my own installs.

My best ET is in my Sig, I ran a God **** 14.00 twice in fact...what are the odds? If you do a search of my posts you can see all the gory details as to how I did it. My mods are listed in my sig as well. I ran a 100.7 for my best trap speed when I ripped a 14.0+ another time. NO MATTER what I did that night I could not rip a 2.0 60' time or I would have run a 13.8-13.9 at 100+/-. I use Nitto DRs and I destroyed the driver's side during a burnout and after that I was lucky to run a 14.1 or 14.2, whatever it was, b/c I was spinning through the 3rd gear upshifts which was scary. My only solice is that the track does in fact average the last bit of track to keep pumping out the time slips (Yes like the G-Tech adds say) so at least I legitamately ran a 13 something if they measured all 1320'.

Side note, Bobby D is 100% honest...him and I talked a lot during my quest for 13s and we both had a great streak of weather, and I always said on here and again, you can search my threads, a 6 spd with the right cold weather and a perfect launch will run 13s all night long as long as you cool the intake and TB in b/t runs with ice.

My 5AT G35 ran a best of 14.21 or something with Blizzaks at all 4 corners and just a bastardized CAI...so basically it was 100% stock...had I known at the time I could pull the VDC fuse I would have easily run a 14.1 so Bobby D's 13.9+ is even more easily accepted knowing he has a 6 spd.

I ran a 13.9@101
60ft- 2.04
Had sticky tires, and was on a sticky track, and it was the ideal day to race.
Man I was hanging with some pretty good cars.

My car is bone stock BTW

Bubi,

Which G do you have? Which Tranny? What were your 60' times that day? What were your other runs? What exactly were the conditions?

Exclamation

Dont get me wrong guys............... but are some of you that are running in the mid-high 14's new to driving stick or something? Cause everyone always bitches about how the RX8 has no power but They run 14.4 at 96.1mph! My car is completely stock and I'm sure that in the near future I can do better then my 14.4 sec.................

I'm just pointing this out because everyone is always bitching how the RX8 is one of the best handling cars but is underpowered. Well with my bone stock RX8 and this timeslip I'm thinking alot of people need to revised their thoughts about The RX8.

Timeslip is posted below just for those who dont believe......................

Why is this guy here? Don't we just show the link to the best motoring video where the rx-8 vomits on the track and the driver just kind of gives up when this happens?

If you can fix that hideous 60' time you will see 14.2's right there!

Son, you're going to have to do a lot better than that. I CAN NOT believe you think some of us are this dumb and don't read articles about other cars. I know for a fact that timeslip you claim is not your own and in fact is from a preproduction Yellow RX-8 tested by Mazda themselves back in August of 03. Here's the link with the EXACT timeslip you're claiming as your own http://rotarynews.com/node/view/208 The timeslip in question is for a Yellow Mazda RX-8 #44.

The way I see it is you're just a racer wanna-be with an RX8 that's never been to the track and would probably run deep in the 15s if you did. Before you knock the lack of driving ability for G35 drivers, maybe you should learn how to even drive a car down the 1/4 mile and not to claim the achievements of others as you own.

Consider yourself owned and don't come back, please.
