Post up your 1/4 mile times
*Please, no BS G-Tech times*
Post whether or not you have a coupe or sedan, mods done, track the runs were at, elevation if you know it, and the conditions in which you ran.
60'
330'
1/8 mile MPH/ET
1000'
1/4 mile MPH/ET
Don't let me down. Prove me wrong that most G owners aren't obsessed with trying to mount 20s on thier cars and that most G owners actually like to race these things and get real numbers, not butt dynos. In a few weeks I'll be driving my own G35 and I'm very avid about 1/4 mile racing.

well, you can see my fastest in my sig, but...
13.2 @ 109mph with 2.22 60'...on Yokohama AVS ES100 tires and 18" stockers. I will be attending a drag day at CAlSpdWay in Feb and plan to break the 12's. The fastest I've ran there was a 13.4 @ 107mph with a 2.32 60'. That one was on my 19" PIAA's. The first time was at LACR and was corrected based on their website correction instructions. At the track, it was a 13.6 @ 106. You can see my mods below. If you're instested (and in town), I will be posting a thread close to the event with details.

I believe Bobby's times. I learned this a long time ago, some tracks are quicker than others. A 13.96@101 for a bonestock G35 sedan 6 speed is believable because there are bonestock 02-03 Maxima 6 speeds that have done 14.1@100mph. A 13.9@101mph leans on the extreme side of the 1/4 mile times for G35s but it's more than believable. I know guys that have done 13.6s@103mph in bonestock 350Zs.
At my track, the quickest 6 speed G35 sedan I know of did a 14.4@97mph with a 2.1 60'. My buddy's stock 03 G35 sedan auto did a 14.70@96mph with a 2.3 60'. He also weighs 280lbs and didn't yank any weight nor run with a fairly empty gas tank or yank the ABS fuse. I have a strong hunch I could pull off a 14.3@98mph or so with a stock 03 auto, ABS fuse yanked, my 100lb lighter body, no spare/jack, 1/4 tank gas, 95 octane, and my 225/50R15 Drag Radials.

Dave B the parts guy or DaveB NOT the parts guy??
Go to dragtimes.com and check out what times people have posted. I'm not going to question what Bobby posted because the E/T depends on too many factors. Down in FL times under 14.0s sound impossible because of the horrible weather/gas/track cond. I know of a bone stock 6MT coupe that only ran a 14.78@96.88 at Moroso in April.
Out of curiosity, whose 6 spd bone stock Maxima ran a 14.1? Even blubyu2k2 who was proclaimed a factory freak on the .org only ran a 14.6@93 with his auto. I know someone in NJ ran a 14.4 stock but 14.1 sounds incredibly low.

I have friends with the sedan that have every imaginable bolt on and they are good drivers (one is Clint -THX723 - racing instructor here on the site) and he managed a 14.1 at 98 or 99 mph.
I'm not flaming you, just asking for time slips or something. I also have to admit, your track conditions were ideal too. Have fun and be safe.
I also have my best run(13.96) on video which I could email to you or if someone can host it that would be awesome.
Thanks

It's all about the 60'. Most 6sp sedans should hit 100 and 14.0 with a 2.0 60'. MT or R&T hit 13's in thier test and that was probabl not even broken in. That's a great launch in a manual where the advantage is usually to the auto. 1in 10 times the launch can be better than an auto is even capable of. Did you feather the clutch or drop it?

Usually when you hear of a super great time out of a car, more often than not the car was raced in the fall/winter at:
1) Houston Raceway Park
2) Montgomery, Alabama
3) The "Rock" North Carolina
4) Englishton, NJ
5) Toronto Motorsports Park
6) Sacramento Raceway
7) Carlsbad, CA
8) Maryland
9) Baton Rouge, LA
What you'll find is many of these tracks are at or below sea level, they're coastal which means super high baro pressures in the fall/winter, and they're open even when it's 30 degrees out. All this can make a huge difference in performance.

You really can't compare times from other parts of the country. Too many variables like weather, elevation, driver etc.
Here's my second best slip which is basically identical.

There's an auto Max with just headers, CAI, catback, and slicks doing 13.5@102mph and with the staged 50-150 shot doing 12.1@111mph. He's in Toronto. From what I've read on other forums, Toronto has a very quick track because I always hear of wickedly fast times coming from that track. I know of a Celica GT-S with an intake, catback, and drag radials doing 13.9@102mph at the Toronto track. There is a bonestock auto 04 Maxima in NJ that's gone 14.2@96mph.

But I can vouch for GA2000's 04 Maxima, which ran a 14.2 stock with a 5AT. But I think he has a factory freak.
