Short Shifter Help
I installed a Nismo short shifter today and ran into a problem. Everything bolted up fine, but when I put it in gear the shifter moves around as if it's still in neutral! At first I thought I broke something
but when I reinstalled the orginal shifter all was good again. Anyone have any ideas on what I did wrong or advice on what to do to resolve this issue. TIA all.

Haha, well if I can get it to work without being so loose I'll let you know. As far as I can tell though from the very short time I had it in the throws are a LOT shorter.

I believe that is normal. You will have the car in gear and the shifter still moves a little bit right? My RE does the same thing.

Well a "little bit" i could live with, but it was no different than having it in neutral. It had the same amount of play regardless of whether it was in gear or not.
