I have had no problems with it. Andre at Edge Racing offered excellent customer service eliminating all turnaround, or process, time.

Compared to stock my 3200 stall is MUCH more aggressive. The car downshifts more aggressively, and because it jumps to a higher RPM when under full or 3/4 throttle, it seems to allow the engine to rev faster...mind you my boost is also coming on fast at the same time. I would not go above a 3200 stall for a DD.

I would recommend it to anyone who really likes to drive their car hard everytime you get in the drivers seat. If you just putt around town, you will complain about the "indirect" feel as the TC slips under slower acceleration.

That help?

How much did you pay for the TC? I don't see anything listed on their website. Do they custom build each one for the 350z/g35?

Yes, they custom build each one to the customers liking, yet the price is fixed.

You've got a PM.

Hmmm. I wonder if this is too much with my 3.7FD on DD. I don't track the car. But I am a very spirited driver

No, a valvebody upgrade is not going to have negative effects just because you have a 3.7 FD. All a valvebody upgrade does is increase the pressure in the lines which allows for MUCH fast and MUCH harder shifts.

Do it, you will be happy you did.

Yup...it says that you have a 3.7 FD and do not track the car, but are a "very" spirited driver.

What am I missing?

I went from a 3.3 to 3.5 FD. Same overall concept. Doesn't change just because you have gears.

Faster shifts = constant power to the wheel without losing all the momentum that you are building up during gear change.

I always felt as came out of gear I was losing part of the energy used to get there, but not anymore. It now feels like there is a constant acceleration between gear changes. Its fantastic.
