people use Mobil 1 syn oil, what filter do you guys use? How many mile in between oil change?

 

People say you can go 5000 on synthetic. I dont because I am turboed and incredibly paranoid about engine failure. I just use your typical oil filter.

 

i use mobil1 and i go to 3,000 miles to change even tho its syn.... sometime i go befor 3k. makes the car run better.

 

i work at firestone and use our generic filters and change the oil every 3-5k miles.

K&N Microfilter... i go about 5-6k on every change but the filter helps a lot... its not bad for $14

I use OEM w/ mobil1 and change my oil every 3k

 

i used to use a k&n oil filter, but switched to the mobile one. seems to make the oil stay clean longer

 

i use mobil one with the OEM filter... ive heard of some people using the maxima or altima or something oil filter before too.

I just got mine changed at the dealership, it said they put in a Mobil-1 oil filter, but it was probably just a stock one. I went 3500 miles on my first synthetic change at 15k miles. i had them take a sample and i sent it off the blackstone labs yesterday. I'll have the results in a couple weeks or so.

 

6000 miles

 

Mobil 1 for me every 5k miles. I drive about 100 miles a day on the highway to work and back. I would probably change it every 3k if my milage was all stop and go intown driving.
