Re: brake fluid COVER review

Looks like they may have sent you an un-modified cover. This might also explain why you did not receive any instructions. I would contact strictly-z again and have them send you a new one at no charge. I saw your negative post in the buyers feedback section. I also had difficulty with strictly-z. But it all worked out in the end. I just hope they get organized quickly. I guess they are moving to a new warehouse. Keep bugging them. I really believe they will take care of you. Just be patient......just not too patient.
Good Luck

Re: brake fluid COVER review

What are you guys using to label for "brake fluid". I tried a clear tape label and it peeled off with the heat. Paint on with stencils?

Re: brake fluid COVER review

I used this window decal maker. It's just a clear sheet that sticks on with static electricity. I put it on right after I painted the cover, then I clear coated the whole thing so it wouldn't come off from the heat.

Re: brake fluid COVER review

Xman - I ground out the "=" and "-" as well as "battery" filled and painted for a clean look that way they would match.

skaline - thanks!! I think I will have to try that to label my covers.

Re: brake fluid COVER review

Received my cover today from StrictlyZ. Was ready to install it an discovered I was missing several parts: bracket
3/8 cap
1/2 cap
5/16 cap
Contacted Strictly Z and said they would put the missing pieces in the mail. Guess I' ll have to wait another week.

Re: brake fluid COVER review

Thanks, skaline. I did as recommended and contacted StrictlyZ. After several weeks of waiting, my replacement cover arrived -- this time, modified correctly.

Installation was a snap and the engine comparment looks great. Things worked out in the end.

Re: brake fluid COVER review

I sent an email to Kyle at StrictlyZ asking if he wanted me to send it back -- once when I mentioned that the part was un-modified, a second time after I installed the replacement part and thanked him for sending it. Haven't heard anything yet.
