afe intake for the G. Does anyone have this?

A. It looks like tape.

B. The dyno looks like some kid drew it.

After reading through 30 pages two people tested it on the 350z Nissansource and Jason@Performance You will see a difference in numbers but not what expected from the site. However they have had too many different variables in the mix. I might buy it and give it a shot. The relocation of the MAF does effect the a/f ratios and the 3d maps that the ecu makes

no, polishing will decrease velocity but create less resistance, ehh sounds funny. if you think back to high school physics.. wind velocity is achieved with either funnel design or if you create a vacuum/difference in pressure somewhere. Another way is by using a rough surface.. rough surface will help create a current through the piping and give you more velocity.

at WOT and high rpms tho of course less resistance is better (polishing) but the loss of low end is simply not worth it.

which is why if you polish your intake manifold and ports you'll loose more useable power then gain
