service engine soon..

wuts up guys? i have a 2005 G35x. it has 68k miles, yah i drive alot. but last thursday. my service engine soon light came on with slip and awd lights. they went off except the service light which is still on. i went to autozone and they gave me the code p2135 which is throttle position sensor. the dealer said it was prolly the gas cap, or i fill with the car on which i did. the car drives fine but the light is still on, do i need to get the TPS which isn't sold seperately or will the light go off.. its been 140 miles already.. thanks and sorry for the long post. and i did search!! with no help...

I'm having the same issue right now. You probably need to replace the sensor. Here's a link to what people said about mine on my350z:

Is that sensor in the throttle body? If so there is a way to do a reset. Check out MotorDyne's site, they have instructions at the end of their plenum install instructions.

I'd do a throttle position reset, and then do the ECU reset.

Should fix everything.
