do it yourself save money for strip club. u can save about 100 bucks if u wont go to dealer. then u will have a wild night or wet with stripper. lol

 

I Had 75K Miles When I Changed Mine Myself, No Experience Under The Hood (Except JWT Pop Charger, Too Easy To Consider A Challenge) And I Had No Gauge, They Work Perfectly, Except Now At 78K Miles I Seem To Get A Very Rare Squeek When I Turn My Wheel A Bit To Get The Car Out The Garage But The Squeek Doesn't Last More Than 1 Sec, IDK If Im Just Picky or What But Im Going To Get Under It And Check It Today, I Think It Just Needs To Be A Bit Tighter, Wish I Had a Gauge For My Own Sake,

 

We used the directions found at http://my350z.com/forum/engine-drive...very-easy.html. Was a little time consuming but easier than we thought it would be. We used liquid wrench and 6 point socket. A standard torque wrench would not fit in the slim area so we used a standard 10 inch socket driver and added an 18 inch length of 3/4 metal pipe for leverage. With that the two pulley nuts loosened easily. Loosening the pulley tension nuts made the belts fairly easy to remove old and refit new. (No struggles.) We got the new belts from Riverside Infinity ($42) along with a new engine air filter for the same $70 price total our local infinity shop wanted for the two drive belts alone Savings on drive belts was about $30. Savings on labor was $155 for a leisurely 2.5 hrs work. Original estimate for parts and labor on this drive belt replacement job by Kearny Mesa Infinity was $225.00. This would probably take an Infinity auto mechanic about 1/2 hour making the labor rate around $310 per hour.
