I like using the K&N filter; it can can install and remove it via 1" wrench and I'm sure it's of high quality. On the other hand, I have heard that the Purolator oil filters are cheap and of good quality (can be purchased at Pepboys). I do recommend doing a search to find more details of each brand.

Purolator filter and Castor GTX conventional.

I change my fluid regularly and in short intervals by habit, so synthetic is not that cost effective for my needs.

That's what I thought too. Went to the Fleet Filter site, and they had a NAPA part #. They look the same, but had ever so slightly different specs on them. The Wix said 9-11 GPM, while the NAPA said 8-9. But every other spec was identical.

BTW, the Fleet Filter site and Wix site both list a different model for the G35. It's a 51365 instead of a 51356. The only difference is the 356 is slightly longer, so has more filter in it. But they do say the 356 will fit on an Infiniti, it's just not the one that comes up when you put your specific car info in.

EDIT: Just searched their sites again. The 51356 is for the 4.5L V8 from Infiniti. It fits the FX45, M45, and Q45. But it should fit the 3.5L as well since it's only dimensional change is length.

Fits fine, I'm running that size with no issues. Also fits Maxima.

Here's the difference in size. The on eon right is the 51356 size, just happens to be an Amsoil:

the thread sizes are the same on the 365 and 356

they both fit the g but as the picture shows, the 356 is longer
