Sorry I don't. I've just referenced them as the Self adjusting Timing sensors.

Good info in the first post, should help people getting replacement engines without access to the original car do compare dashes/trim/whatever.

Took me about 10 minutes, that is called a "Magnet Retarder" or "EXHAUST VALVE TIMING CONTROL MAGNET RETARDER" Looking in the FSM, it appears to be built into the valve timing control covers.

Edit, checked another parts site:
If you went to parts dept, it would be called: "CAM SPROCKET COVER & PULLEY KIT VTC" or "VTC COVER & PULLEY KIT"
Replacement part numbers are:
A3040-AC71A (RH)
A3040-AC71B (LH)

Hi,
i got a problem on my 2006 G35 coupe unstable engine and the code shown p0024 & p0084, but when i remove the blue plug which you circled in red the car gone smooth again looks like no problem on it.
any body know what is the solution or what is the problem.
other things what is that part effect?

Thank you
Nawar

I used the tranny/year for awhile, but never knew the big differences. I didn't see the little things. I know enough about cars to work on them, but I assumed it was all in the tune.

UPREV : Software for tuning VQ engines

UPREV is not REVUP....
So question is the revup still a vq35de or is it the vq35hr? I've been confused about that.

You can buy the complete gasket kit from your local Nissan, same with the timing chain kit, water pump, oil pump. Piston/rods/bearings there's a ton of options.

Or you can buy a complete kit from a G/Z vendor like Concept Z Performance or Z1 Motorsports.

The Rev up motor with 298hp has variable cam timing on the exhaust side as well as the intake side. The non-rev up motor with 280hp only has it on the intake side. So to put this to rest once and for all....here is the easiest way to tell.
it is kind odd, that nmvtis says my car is auto, but when i brought it, was 6mt. what is the issue? my car sure do revs until 7300rpm respectfully?
