Does Motordyne Plenum Spacer 5/16 increase HP?
No, you are a Newb, big difference.
If I remember correctly, the 5/16" spacer made the most power in dyno tests. You should start with that. Don't mess with replacing your air intake unless you just want more noise. Again, dyno test have shown that the stock air box is just fine. If you want to get every bit out of it, use one off a "rev-up" motor (05-06' 6MT only) it has a little better design.

okay thanks!! i hear some people liking the skunk 2 plenum spacer and then some people swear by the motordyne one...any preference or differences?
A NOOB is just too stupid to know he's in over his head. As Clint Eastwood said "a mans got to know his limitations".
awesome!! i watched a couple vids online of installs and it looks pretty basic for the most part. anyting to watch out for or common mistakes you have heard of people running into during install i can keep an eye out for?
Other than that, it's pretty idiot-proof.
okay great! texasscout was saying to get every bit of power out of it to use one off a rev up motor. so when im purchasing just say its for a 05 or 06 6MT?
