Fuel cuts 3000rpm SLIP and VDC OFF come on

Hi,

I just started having this problem. Almost every time I get to 3000 rpm the slip and vdc off lights come on and it cuts the fuel as if hitting a governor. Turning the car off and on again fixes it and I can rev past 3000 again.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?

6mt 04 , new air filter, premium gas and oil change just performed.

Check for computer codes. Thier maybe an issue with Throttle body position sensor.

Thier very sensitive because of the Drive By Wire throttle control.

+1 on the throttle body, and i would check the air intake part of the engine. Was the new air filter prep and oiled? too much oil maybe and got some on the maf sensor.

Just went through this and it will only get worse and leave you stranded. Its either the gas peddle sensor of the throttle body sensor. let me know if you need some advice mike

ps search limp mode on my350z.com

03' track... Soon to be race car.
Yeah, you need someone with access to a nissan consult 2 or 3 to pull the codes. Generic scanners will get data from the engine, but not if the problem is elsewhere. Is it setting a check engine light?

Nop, no check engine light comes on. Only the VDC OFF and Slip stay on when it happens and disappear when the car is restarted. Seems to happen a lot less when the car has been running for more than 30 min.
I will try finding someone with one of those tool to help me pull the code.
