Help: P0335 from hell - what can it be?

Update: realized the real problem is I replaced both cam sensors and knock sensor, not the crank sensor, so I paid the stupid-tax which so far has come to 225+80+80=385 and about to be 465 on these damn oem sensors. At first I thought the initial fix had been botched by the ebay sensors I purchased for $16 each, so add another 32 for my stupid-tax.

Nissan 23731-AL60C, Engine Crankshaft Position Sensor $80 on Amazon and prime eligible.

Link: http://amzn.com/B00BFE1V80

Cam sensor Driver - AL61A
Cam sensor Pass - 6J90B
Crank sensor - AL60C
Knock sensor - 2A000

P0335, car stalls after driving about 10 miles only when outside temp is above 90.

Replaced both sensors, problem persisted
replaced both with new oem, problem persisted
replaced knock sensor and harness, problem persists

I will be taking to a mechanic next, and based on my research it could be any of the following:

-loose/stretched timing chain
-bad harness wires to the sensor
-rusted/bent crankshaft or flywheel
-corrosion near bottom of battery cable (i had corrosion pretty bad a year ago and chopped to place a new terminal, but the corrosion could be deeper)

What else could cause this? I have heard dirty oil, but that's def not it. Can a clogged fuel filter cause this code? I have never changed it and i'm at 130k

Isn't that the crankshaft sensor?

yes sir it is the crank sensor position a circuit. I replaced both with aftermarket then all three (cam, crank, knock) with oem when it didn't fix.

If it's getting hot, are the fans turning on? Have you checked both water temp sensors? (if there are two) Usually one for the guage and another that the ECU uses for timing etc...

Sorry, I meant the stalling only occurs after the car has driven about 10 miles and the ambient outside temp is above 90. The engine temp is stable and the fan is still coming on. I didn't mean to sound like an overheating issue.... updated op

You replaced the crankshaft sensor though right? The one underneath the car?

Dear lord - I have spent so many hours researching this issue, and I have a degree in research...
I have just now learned about the 4th sensor (top>down)

So for any future visitors here, I will post what would have helped me so long ago...

Part numbers:
Cam sensors -
Driver side - AL61A
Passenger side - 6J90B
Crank sensor - AL60C
Knock Sensor - 2A000

Good gawd hopefully this nighmare is soon over

Are you saying there is a sensor truly 'under' the car? I have replaced 3 sensors and I thought the trio was it....
Yea, the two you replaced are BOTH cam sensors. There is only one crank sensor on the bottom of the car.

Thanks guys, this has really been helpful and somehow the information seemed elusive until now, all of a sudden I find multiple threads with the info I needed. I guess my search terms were slightly off... There are so many incomplete forum entries out there where people identify their problem and never report back with their solution.

Thanks again!
