I’ve finally blown my G motor. Smh abused it daily the ECU is tuned etc. was wicked fast. Only question is that will the 2005 Maxima VQ35DE fix into my 2003 G35 W/O any trouble? I’m only asking because the motor for the Nissan maxima is half the price of the Infiniti. I don’t know why but that’s what I see. Any help is appreciated

 

No, the transverse mounted VQ35DE from a Maxima or Altima has motor mounts cast into different locations on the block.

 

On the plus side, if you could somehow make it work, the cam sensors are much easier to change...
