Hey everyone. Quick question, what are these two wires for? Are they A/C related? The previous owner just straight up cut them. Wondering what they’re for.
Damn, thats what I was afraid of. The previous owner removed the AC from the car, and Im moving to AZ and planning to keep the car... so Ill need to put it back in. Any idea of what theyre for specifically?
I hope you inspected the car well, that is some half-assed "work" he did. He could have simply disconnected the lines if he traced them back another foot under the cowling.
About a month after I got the car, found the cooling hose on the back of the engine was almost falling off, aswell has a self tapper in the gas tank, causing a leak. Fixed all those now, but Im gonna need AC! Can you tell me what the lines are for specifically?

They are the "high" and "low" lines for the freon. Those lines are routed to the radiator portion of the AC system.
