You triggered the NATS/IVIS security interlock / vehicle immobilizer, by too many failed attempts, that is VERY indicative that the car didn't recognize your key. I'm guessing that while you were cranking the engine the red LED security indicator on the dash was SOLID RED.
There's steps in the FSM to unlock it from the security lockdown in BL - Body Locks Security, you're probably also throwing code P1610 right now for the immobilizer being engaged.
Try your spare key, check the status of the NATS/IVIS indicator LED on the left side of the dash while cranking.
I think to get out of lock mode it's ignition ON for 5 seconds, turn ignition off, ignition ON for 5 seconds, turn ignition off, ignition ON for 5 seconds then start the engine. So three cycles of ON (5seconds), off, then on the final one you start the engine.
You must use a registered key to get out of lock mode, or use Consult-II/III dealership tool to bypass and give it new keys registries, OR use Uprev tuning software to turn off NATS/IVIS.
So if I replace the ecu does the ENTIRE part number need to match exactly with a new one? Or just a portion of it?
im not finding anything close, I can’t even find evidence of this exact part number anywhere. I guess I’m calling the dealership in the morning.
