05 G35 Coupe, Sulphur/egg smell, crank no start, cant read codes

Good afternoon

I have a 2005 G35 Coupe. The car drove fine and started normally before this event but I was leaving work then stopped by a parking lot to pick someone up. While parked and waiting, the car began to shake at idle, I noticed this so I turned off the car, then turned it back on and it seemingly got worse because once I started it again, the shaking worsened and the smell of Sulphur or Bad eggs was present in the car. I turned it off and waited and tried once more but the car wouldn't start anymore and would only crank.

Later I took the car to the shop and they mentioned that there is a short but they could not find the short so I towed it back to my place of residence. I bought an OBD II Reader and plugged it in, the reader powers on but says the car needs to be on to begin reading anything but the car is already in the On position. I'm thinking it could be an ECU problem because there's sometimes a leak in the foot well of the passenger area where the wires are run in, it stopped leaking there intermittently but maybe that's the problem and if so, can someone give me some tips on how to diagnose a bad ECU would be greatly appreciated. Later I tried using starter fluid which the car almost started but nothing happened. I kept trying but still does not want to start (Could be Fuel/Spark?)

I'll update more information later as I'm also busy but was hoping if anyone can help out and give me some tips on how to diagnose this would be greatly appreciated.

Very respectfully, thank you

Sounds like a clogged cat from the rotten egg smell.

Welp, the "bio" in the upper right corner of OP's post says he has "hollowed cats" so that would explain the rotten egg smell. Maybe the hollowing collapsed and clogged?

Good Morning

I apologize, its been a while since I had a problem with this car, I never really got around to updating things around here. With that being said, I did ask a shop if they can replace my hollowed cats with a set of OEM Cats as Smog was an issue. But that was a few months ago, so it's possible the cats could clog causing a no start? Thank you all for chipping in.
