It activates the SEARCH button on your desktop for G35driver.com.

I believe I successfully resetted the ECU, do I just remove the key after it blinks fast the second time or just start the engine? I have 1500 Miles on my car and I can't feel the difference so I want to know if I wasnt suppose to start the car after the light starts blinking uber fast the second time.

Just did the procedure on the 3rd try after I found out about pressing the gas pedal 1 time per second for 5 seconds. Now the check engine light no longer blinks after i started the car....car didnt seem to run any different after I started it for the first time - havent taken a test drive yet

Yes, 12 hours is the suggested time for the disconnect.

Either I am the most useless person in the world, or my car just refuses to cooperate. At no point does my check engine light blink.. apparently I am not the only one having trouble with this..Persumably it should work though... its an 04 6MT coupe w/ nav... if there's some reason why it wont please let me know, so i can stop wasting my time... but i really would like to get it working... so if anyone has some pointers that I haven't read on the thread, please let me in.. thanks

Tyler

I got this to work on my first try, definately tickles my pickle. Also going to try the battery method. If that works, it will definately lube my tube.

05 IP coupe / 5AT.

The Check Engine Light continued to blink slowly - - but it never blinked quickly and it just went back into regular illumination mode. I, apparently, didn't get it into that final reset mode. Any thoughts? Do you have to log some time on the ECU before it can be reset again?

Thanks for any input you guys might be able to provide.

I'm getting this same result. I was able to succesfully reset it before, but just get the slow blink for 4 flashes and on the 5th it stays solid. Anyone know what may be up with that?

Would resetting(or failing to reset) the ECU potentially screw anything up?
