Grubbs Performace.....

Grubbs Performace.....

has anyone else ordered the jdm battery cover for the driver side of the g35 coupe..... cuz for some reason i cant get a snuge fit on it, only thing it came with was the 5 plastic lock nuts and a white bracket, now where would the white bracket be placed

if anyone can help it would be much appreciated thx

Watching closely as I just purchased 7 of these battery covers in a club GB.

For the white bracket. Look at the battery cover on the left side, you'll see a corresponding white bracket. You'll need to drill at least one hole for it, but mount it in the same place on the right side

I've installed three JDM covers. All required significant modification to allow the cover to fit correctly--flat and properly supported.

Here's where I put the bracket on my initial installation. On the two other Gs I modified and placed this braket under the center rear hole for better support. I also added a second bracket at the rear center location on my car.

same here - required some dremmeling and drilling, but fits fine. it's not a plug-and-play mod, but it's an easy one to make work.

i just installed mine tonight. did any of you actually clip the top three clips into anything? I just put the clips in to hide the holes and to make it look clean. so the only clips that are actually holding it in place are the bottom two. it still fits nice and snug though.

do u have to modify the grubbs rh battery cover or is it just snap on?
