how to beat an m3....

ok so we have all come across those ****** in there m3 and you know you cant beat them with a stock g but u race them anyway b/c ur not a punk. u might come close or even beat them if they suck at driving, anyway i was once torn between the m3 and the g35 coupe at one point but went with the G, for 2 reasons one was the price differance and the other is that i personlly LOVE the sound of the g35 and think the m3 sounds like total **** , anyway i want to know how i can boost up my g35's power without going the route of Forced induction, also trying to stay in the range of $1000 - 2000. also i would need the website of the place i could get these performance parts. thnx

^^^That won't get the job done.^^^

The M3 has a redline at 8k, more hp, more torque and it is designed to get power to the ground much more efficiently than the G35. Just look at the I shaped frame on that beast!

You'll need to add nearly 100rwhp to get near the M3 quarter mile time and that cannot be done by staying NA.

Could always get a hottie to distract the driver of the ///M while you disconnect a couple of spark plugs. That's probably the only way NA.

Thats exactly what this is, a dream. You get what you pay for, the G costs less for a reason.

m3 run 13.5 stock so if u mildly mod your g35 with bolt ons and with 3.9 final drive u should take the m3 with ease.

a stock 6mt g35 should run 14-14.2 and just with the 3.9 final drive it should drop your quarter mile about .5 sec or more. Good hunting.

Too bad bolt-on's don't do anything for the G35. I've seen Dyno's where $2,000 worth of Bolt-on's give like 10-15 hp to the wheel...if that.

A shot of nitrous should do the trick. That's the easy way out.
