Sedanman, I share your thoughts. It's for the love of the car, to crank it up a notch for a reasonable price, why not? If I could feel an additional 20 or so HP under my seat, "HELLL YEAH"!!!! Not that I'm dissatisfied with the sedan as is, but improvement never never hurts.

I think you will see a turbo model in 2005 when GT-R arrive. its should have around 400hp, so the only way to get that much power is either twin-turbo charge it like they always do on the pre G35 skyline GT-Rs or the V8 from Q45.

Re: Z Engine Vs G35 Engine

true. I find myself looking online every day for word of a quality CAI for the Sedan. A day that goes by seems to feel like a year. I'm almost ready to get a flat K&N filter replacement, but I don't want to waste $$ if a CAI is around the corner.

Anyhow, these dyno readings are all confusing aren't they? From what I've seen on these forums so far, every person that has gotten their G dynoed and has posted the results, gets replies from others stating that the place they got their dyno is no good, or the readings are wrong, etc. What the hell good is getting one's car dynoed if the figures can always be disputed by some other guy that "knows it all"?

i have no idea.. no place is gonna dyno a car quite like another place.. but hopefully, the differences won't be off by so much to that we can't get a basic average as to the true performance of the car.

Also, the G35's and the 350Z share more than just an engine. They share transmissions and the lovely FM platform. In the end, I don't think it matters if you get a G35, a 350Z, or an FX35. Anything with a VQ35 engine strapped to an FM platform is going to be downright pleasurable. Some just handle more cargo than others.

Maybe you are right, I just hope you don't have the sunroof. That thing is over 40lb and it's over your head (means higher center of gravity) Not very good for track action!
