03-04 Sedan Rear Valance Lip Nismo Aero Kit

Up for grabs is a brand new, never painted, never installed Nismo Aero Kit rear lip.

First the good: The one piece everyone needs, brand new.

Onto the bad: It is pretty bruised and battered from laying around for the past few years. It comes with no hardware either. Pics show damage, nothing unfixable.

Firm price is set at $300 shipped to you door, including PP fees or $250 if you pick up with cash. Location is southeastern MA

Also, I thought these came prepainted? Is this an original nissan part? Polyurethane and not fiberglass?

Are you positive this is an OEM Nismo Rear lip and not the one made by VIS? I only ask because all of these came prepainted from the factory and the bottom portion of the lip is a black plastic finish. Looks like the one you have is painted all the same color.

I believe that's correct CSP, the factory one should also have the "Nissan" logo and part number like "K6030-ALXXX" the XXX should be color code (btw, that's not the actual part number, just an example) either stamped or raised lettering on the inside part of the body part.

Can you provide that info TP16?

Thanks,
rob g.

Another easy way to tell if its authentic is for the OP to test fit it on his car (just hold it in place). The VIS one was made to fit the JDM shorty rear bumper, so its 1-1.5" too short.

Never heard of the "shorty" rear bumper. Got any links to that?

JDM Shorty bumper

USDM

The USDM sticks out further likely to comply with US impact laws.

Oh, I see. Yep that would be a problem. I'm interested in this piece, but need to verify that it's the real deal and it fits.
Thanks,

I'm almost certain this is not from VIS. VIS rear has the license plate indent in the middle, which I believe is also present on the JDM version.

Here's how VIS rear is short on each side as CandlestickPark mentioned:

License plate indent in the middle section:

OP maybe you want to snap some pics from the inside, so we see the mounts are there, which will help you sell this piece.

I can gauantee this is the real thing. The above poster who seems to think this is painted fully is incorrect. This piece has never been painted. The second picture clearly shows no license plate cut out. PqBrown, that indent is on the lower left about where the rear bumper would start. I am out right now, but when I get home I will get info on the part number and take a couple other pictures. If there are any other questions or concearns, lmk

I'm it's obvisous that it's been installed before. You can BREAK it and gouge the crap out of it like that vis just being in the garage.
