it was the "Clutch Fork Pivot" a $12.85 part lol. It snapped at the pivot point. and the clutch & flywheel that is in there required a little bit longer piece that had to be welded and aparently the guy that put in the new clutch before i purchased it didn't do the job rite as it it snapped & had to be re-done.
I will say this about lokey, when they make a mistake or their is miscomunication they do accept the blame. however i am extremely satisfied with the quality of work and level of knowledge of the new guy Mark at Personal Auto Repair!
I'm gonna go out and cruise!

lokey did not they just faxed over a handwritten itemization of all the parts and prices in the entire clutch system and said here's your worst case and we won't know anything untill you allow us to take the transmission apart at $90/hour.
i wish you guys were closer to me here in palm harbor, but i'm definatly coming to you guys to get the S/C or TT done

If you take your car in for repairs and request a certain repair or specific part replacement, you can't change your mind later on if your solution doesn't fix the problem.
OEM Dealers are designed to figure out what's wrong with the vehicles they serve. If you circumvent a dealers diagnostics process with a specific request, you need to be prepared to pay for your repair even if it doesn't fix the problem. Always better to say: "Here's the problem I have... What do you think we should do?"
