hell yeah, i cant wait. my hoosiers came in yest. and i will drop them off to get mounted today. i was going to buy some lightweight 18s to throw them on but i think i have too much crap at my house already. time to do some cleaning out. after going through those corners in NC on crappy tires. pulling >.84 Gs through some corners, i am ready!!!! i am thinking i could pull close to 1.2s with some good tires. i will see. our cars just stick to the ground through corners with minimal roll.....

I was in the mid 120's. That straight isn't the fun part. That's where I relax, shake out my hands, look around, breathe, make sure the gauges are good, etc. Going into Turn 1 at 90+, passing on turn 3, and going into turn 4 at 70+ is the real deal. They have another Roebling event in September with NASA. You should go.

Yes, it's a C5. He was coming out of the last turn onto the straight and lost the rear end. Instead of just driving off track to the field, he tried to catch it and it put him head first into the wall on the right of the straight. He walked away and was physically fine. A 944 also got into a situation during a race in heavy traffic, locked up tires, went off track and flipped it. He was also ok. That was a fully raceprepped race car though.

I'm running Kuhmo V710's on a fully stock RX-8. The green 08 RX-8 in the last picture.

I'm sure people will be able to come watch. I will ask if they will let me ride with a few people to show them the line and talk them through the track to teach as much as possible.

Only 10 more days before we hit the Track!

Long range forcast calls for 89/69 and Scattered T-Storms.

My Tires - Cup's, and my car is the black Z in the picture above passing every Porsche's and BMW's a@@ that weekend, even the Porsche Turbo's!

There is no passengers allowed so the best thing we can do for everyone is to hopefully have enough cones for turn in points and apex points. Also have a layout of the track and draw the prefered driving line. You can ask them though if you want Levent to see what they say because it would be much better instructing from in the car with the driver.

Since it isn't too long of a track, we can also walk it during a break or lunch and we can talk about each other's lines, set up, and track out. There are different lines for horsepower cars and momentum cars. I bet we'll learn a heck of a lot just from that talk.

Hey guys, Levent's friend and mine that races, Jeff Gordon (not the famous NASCAR Racer, but he races the same cars) said that he actually has a race 28 miles away from us on the night of June 3rd. I will probably go over to watch him if any of you guys are interested. I will also try to talk him about coming over to our track first and helping people with questions and have him look at the tire temps people are running.

Question - does anyone have a canopy or something to create some shade during the event? We really will need it to cool off between each session!
