6. FI'ed G (Atheng) - 2005 coupe 6mt. STS ST, 8psi Utec w/map switch & boost controller solenoid, 440CC injectors, Mrev+, stock headers, Y-pipe, Mid-Pipe and UTR Test Pipes. Installed/Tune by MRC. UPDATE New Dyno 373whp/393TQ at around 8.6psi with 10,000 Miles Problem Free..

Update = 44K total miles and 30K boosted miles still not a single problem except fVckup front/rear bumper and rims....

winterdevilg35-03 6MT- Vortech V2 SC, 3.12 pulley, CJM Stage 0 FRS, SP water/meth injection, DW 600cc injectors, Kenetix intake manifold, Strup headers, Fast Intentions test pipes/Intimidator exhaust, Stillen oil pan, Greddy oil catch can, Stillen oil cooler, Koyo Slim Radiator/Samco hoses/Greddy Rad. cap. Went FI at 94,000. Now at 100,000. Over heats at idle after 10-15 minutes or crusing slow at high RPM (1st gear) for given period of time. Stock Block. 407whp/338wtq at 9psi.

You need to fix that overheating issue ASAP. Far from normal and very dangerous to your high mileage stock block.

I got it to the point where she only overheats when I drive her hard (or for a long period of time) then sit idle for about 10-15 minutes. Hasn't overheated since I added that redline coolant water wetter and purged my coolant system again with my spill free funnel. I have a bunch of other reliability mods but nothing that produces (or unleashes) more power, so I didn't list them. What I would recommend for people planning on going FI get yourself a digital water temp., oil press., and A/F ratio gauge. I prefer digital because not only do they look better but it tells you a more accurate number.

Thats awesome! How many miles on it? Total on motor and since build? Do you have a build thread? videos or pics?

I'm at 49k right now, 25k boosted. i have a built thread somewhere you can look for it under my name... lots of built pictures too.

Those numbers are pretty wild for only 8psi without MAJOR headwork and such. What kind of dyno?

05 6spd stock internals turbonetics kit w/ skunk 2 spacer 368whp and 371tq at 6.5psi tuned by motiva engineering... only 3rd day boosted....cold starts just fine but when its warm it kinda struggles on the start up is this normal? any fixes?
