Stock motor with forced induction . . . how badly did you push it?

I believe its because of the bigger injectors. I'm guessing you're running Utec? if so Haltech will fix the problem.

It depends on what you call low boost 400-450whp should be easy with 7-10psi.

Will I have to upgrade injectors or just put the exhaust, clutch and TT? Obligation to reflash?

LOL. More like 390. Post the dynojet sheet with the boost curve or it didn't happen.

Sound Performance in IL... Had it on the dyno to tune it. The tuner couldnt get a base map in time from greddy so he started from scratch on my emanage. Leaned it out heard a POP!! White/black smoke spewing! Put down decent numbers brought it to a buddy he check codes. Misfire cyl. 4. Brought car to Ams performance did a
Compression test . Cylinder 4 no good. The oil cap started hovering as it was loose during the test.
Ams performance 1st g35 fully built. Its together and it being final tune this week so i can pick up. Got me racelogic traction control and some 20'' DPE
ro5 variants patiently waiting

^ I blew the same piston and number 5 (I should say cracked them around the rings) from a bad tune as well in the beginning at 8psi after about 1500 miles...and by bad tune, I mean that the first tune was tuned to 6500rpms instead of 7000rpms. Minor mistake but made right. The Tune is everything!

Although I am still with a stock block, I am happy with the tune at under 6psi. I actually have a better torque curve and better numbers than I did prior on the first tune.

Update!!!

45. g-adabout - Stock block Turbonetics ST kit...threw out the crappy turbo and replaced it with a Garrett T3/60-1, UpRev Tune, HKS Exhaust with strait pipes (no cat or resonators) with an electronic cut out and injectors. 393whp and 352wtq at 5.5psi! <-final set up Also tuned at 8psi for 418whp and 378wtq but that tune would require a new MAF and Fuel Return upgrades. 6500 clean boosted miles now, several passes down the 1320. Sacrificed a few A/C lines and a lower radiator hose, but motor is still running strong.

Mine was tuned to 6500 instead of 7000 as well and mine also crack on the side by the rings. The shop took 0 responsibility. I went with the Cosworth 8.8:1 this time for a bit higher compression.
