Stock motor with forced induction . . . how badly did you push it?
yay another thread with 100+ pages for me to read. fun
also say i have my stock intake, and an injen sp intake
does the vortect SC replace my intake system, or can i use the injen sp intake? because i see alot of pictures and they all seem the same. thanks.

This is not entirely true ... the "intake system" is comprised of several components, one of which is the intake tube from the air filter box which will be replaced by the Vortech intake tube and allows the new filter to sit in front of the pulley system. You will not be able to use your Injen intake unless it was custom designed for use with the Vortech setup (like mine). The stock intake manifold is another component and can remain stock.

Here's my setup with custom built Injen intake, I've added a strut bar since this pic:
Your Injen CAI will not work with a Vortech setup
If you can't even do that, then you are going to hate your life when the work actually begins.
100 pages? You must be on noob settings.
04 G Coupe. Procharger with 12 psi pulleys. First dyno trip put down 360whp at 5300rpms but maxed out my RC440's and my stock Maf. Went back 2'ish weeks later with my RC700's and my modded MAF and car lasted roughly 2.5 hours on dyno and finally died on the 3rd full throttle pull. Washed out the bearings and seized the motor.
