I'm thoroughly impressed!!! This has been an awesome jouney and I cant wait to see what kind of numbers it puts down. The only thing Im worried about is the fact that the IC is just about TOTALLY blocked by the stock front bumper. Just how efficient can it actually be without a lot of flow coming across it....Hopefully the owner is gonna get a front bumper that will allow that biatch to breath better! COngrats though man, you are an inspiration to us all!!!

A lot of difference! Unless he's running the TN G35 FMIC which has a fan then I see this to be at least 12+ Deg hotter IAT especially in the Summer. My IAT used to be around 42C-47C in the summer days and when I switched to my TopSecret Bumper then my IAT went down around mid 30's deg Celsius.

Looks very nice, looks similar to my Turbonetics kit. I cant wait to see how the car does on the dyno, and how the entire system holds up. If I were you I would still try and get the owner to upgrade to a better turbo, I think a used turbo may even be better than that chinese made one he had you install.

Well my job is officially done on this car, the owner picked up the car today and is getting it tuned this Saturday,Utec map sensor and injectors by someone who posted in this thread.

Total spent on parts $1413.93.

Awesome job!!

I think it would of been better to have the intake behind the grill above the brace.

The intake looks like most of the airflow is blocked by the front brace and bumper.

I could be wrong though I'm just judging from the pic.

Good job anyway!!

GL to the owner with the tune and is the owner on the forums?

I would love to see vids of this car in action.

^ If I was to take a guess I bet it will be PF since they are in FL. The owner will be in good hands with them.

Thanks, I know you have been following this project from the first page.
The owner will swap out the bumper, they are taking it off for the dyno.

You guessed right Jeremy from PF told the owner they could get 450 to 460rwhp, I don't know how true that is being the engine is stock and from what I have been reading on the forums 400rwhp is about the limit of these engines. Guess we will have to wait and see.

Great job!! Cant wait to see what it does on the DYNO. Questions.... How did you make the intake piping? How much did that run you? Any special materials?

Thanks.
I fabricated the intake from the left over 3" piping, 18guage mild steel.

hahaha, i might of said that the turbonetics kit is good for that amount on a stock motor with race gas.

i am aiming for around 400 to the wheels with a nice safe tune.

everything looks good except a couple small things that we are taking care of.

im sure the owner will post up the results later on.

thanks!!
