I just love misleading posts like this..... You should have just stopped at "i love my supercharger over turbo" ...by continuing it just shows me your lack of knowledge about turbo's.

Rule of FI is...if you take short cuts, expect problems. I have been pushing over 600whp from July of last year with zero problems. I paid the money up front to lessen the problems at the back end.

If you install the correct boost control and Wastegate...it will only build the boost you want it to.

So you take a gamble to save money... Don't do it if you can't afford the consequences or can't afford to do it right the first time.

The new VQ35VHR engines look ready for low boost stock - completely different story there...
Perfectly put....which is why I will not go FI w/o building the engine first. wont even think about it. For now, I'll just prowl threads like this one.

If I had the chance to go back and I had more extra $$ then I would've went TT right away. I still have a stock block so I have no complain right now coz no point of upping the the boost.

I'm at 20k and going and not too happy If I had a chance to go back, I just stay stock and if I wanted a supercharger I'd go with weenie stillen, less maintenance and worries.

mmm Boost. My only regret is buying the loudest FI out there, Vortech. Driving around top down, I sometimes can't hear myself think. Other than that. FUN

Don't you have some Women's underwear to try on or something??

I just need a louder exhaust. The Nismo isn't cutting it.

Vortech is actually the quitest s/c out there, well mabye HKS. Stillen is the loudest FI out there. If you heard it in person you will know what I mean, people jump at the sound if its shriek (sounds like a dying cat a megaphone amplified x10..lol).

My friend has a vortech ( I'm getting one soon) and it does sound like a Jet when at low rpm's but when you hit the gas, the exhaust drowns the whine. Stillen on the other hand drowns the exhaust sound, lol

This is actually true. At WOT, hands down Stillen pierces your ear drums. But overall normal daily driving, you can keep the Stillen in the lower RPMs and it's not that bad. The Stillen is Louder and Quieter than the Vortech.

100% happy of the s/c money i spent. love the power first off and love the sound second. i really wanted to go TT but im lazy now, i did all that in the past with my last two honda's. i dont want to be under my hood every other day. i like the low maintance of the s/c.

good luck with your choice.
