Instead of spending $20K to $30K on an FI kit; got with an OEM twin turbo'd car out of the box; I did and am loving it. (I also hope to be one of the first GTR owners in Cali).

Its great to know how some owners have so little or no problems with their FI apps. And it makes me worrisome when I hear some owners have so many problems. These responses really help but yeah nothing beats a car that is already made for FI applications. The power ratio is evenly disperse throughout the entire car. I guess thats probably why TT Supras go for more than what they were brand new now a days. I would be great to get a GTR if they were out already but too bad Nissan changed the look of it so much compared to the concept which turns me down.

Yes the bottom end is done(spare short block), the heads are getting cams/springs and a valve job next week. Should be tuned by ~the 4th.
The greddy was great on my stock block. I had to pull some timing out in the summer heat but overall it was great.

So you have a spare block that you are building and didn't blow your engine..

I would have stayed NA for sure....
If I do it again Greddy TT FTW! best all around kit in my opinion and you can get some serious numbers out of it.
Its all fun and games till you notice your 10k in the car and youre like WTF am I wasting this money for. Its almost like the strip club you get the cheap feel and everynow and then you go back but you just never satisfied.

You gotta be willing to throw $20-$40k into a pit that will return you nothing but a mixture of joy, frustration, and adrenaline all rolled into one. If you can live with that, then go for it!
In regards to your kit selection, I would find your builder/tuner first, then make a decision. Good luck.

If I had a chance to go back, I would have gotten twins in the first place and not wasted my money on the s/c

Right.
My car is running happy and strong right now. UMS Tuning had a spare short block they are building for me to save some down time on my car. I knew down the line somewhere my motor would blow.
