I have a G35 coupe 5AT with a Greddy TT kit and reflash done by Technosquare to go along with my mods. The car drives fine.

But I was just wondering if I could add a piggyback ecu such as an Greddy Emanage or UTEC to fine tune the A/F ratios?

Anyone know?

 

The Technosquare reflash should only be used for an Idle Bump and Speed Limiter removed and that's about all really for a F/I Tune.

DO NOT use the Emanage, it's garbage! Go with the Utec immediately and get it tuned the right way, or another unit such as the Haltech, Fcon, etc... if you have the funds to do so, before you cause some serious damage and have a bigger headache than anticipated.

 

I have the Technosquare ecu reflash that Technosquare offers/uses for the Greddy TT kit.

Technosquare said boost was set for 8 psi and the rev limiter was raised and speed limiter removed.

I bought the car recently with the greddy TT kit and TechnoSquare reflash already on the car, and the previous owner drove it for over 10,000 miles I believe with no problems. The car drives nice and smooth.

So its not a problem to use a UTEC or Fcon in addition to the Technosquare TT reflash?

 

I run a 5AT with the Fcon and the only reason why I got the Technosquare reflash was to raise the rev limiter. I have no experience with their ECU reflash for a TT system but I would recommend a piggy back system to fine tune the car.

 

i have the technosquare greddy TT reflash. Its a flash made specifically for a g35 with the greddy TT kit. The car pulls hard and runs pretty smooth as well. Just wanted to know if I can smoothen out or fine tune the A/F curve later down the road with a different ems

Get a utec at the minimum.

 

How can you have a reflash that handle 8psi when our stock MAF is maxed out after 4psi?
Yes you can since a Standalone EMS will have its own table for Fuel/Timing so it won't be using your ECU.

 

reflashes are just a guess. if i was running turbos on my stock block, id rather have a real tune.

 

Drop them both and get a Haltech/FCon/ProEFI

 

They aren't a guess when you combine it with a dyno tune.
