I'll take you to the twisties

Has your friend dynoed?

I do 186 on a mustang dyno...
Just texted him. he said never dynoed.

You'll rock me in twisties.. we did a little turn test with my G and his S2k and theres NO WAY in hell you can make a G turn like that without HEAVY suspension mods (or a 10pt roll cage or something) even with everything done to it right now on PS2 tires (he was on stocks) he handles turns way better then the G can =( I'll do some fine tuning on the suspension and lets see how it hangs with the s2k.. but I doubt it with the sick weight and chassie advantage you guys have

Other than that, you might want to consider a better exhaust and HFC's (if you haven't already)

If you plan on tracking it, power steering cooler, as well

Looks like a good plan!
Oops, forgot to list.. I'm goign with straight pipes.. ECU is still in the air.. I might do the SS Box for now then the upgraded ECU when we get it.. shh..

and all those "Ghetto" turbo cars
will i be able to say HOLY CRAP IM FAST??

i just hear that even after i go f/i
its not as fast as u would immagine dropping out that much money
Think it'll be as fast as I'm imagening.. I'm not going for something stupidly fast on the a straight line. Something easy to drive on the track and streetable is where I'm aiming at. I'll be happy as hell if I can get this thing to turn like the S2000 CRs but with a nice solid 400whp behind the wheels. The whole set up to now is all USEABLE theres nothing pointlessly done to this car cept the headlamps and bodykit, even then it still uses Metal Fenders and a wide metal rear quater. Is it worth it dollar:hp? of course not.. but is it worth it yeah.. When I can daily drive my Infiniti with a nice interior, navi, sound system then rip it up at the track with a well balance set up.. yepp

ive sat in dailydriven cars that when taking off make it hard to breathe
and just gravity sucks you *** far back as possible into your seat
somewhere even close to that will make me very very happy

anyone use theyre S/C or Turboed g35 for daily driving?

Mine is a daily driver and track car as well.

By the way, you aren't pulling more than about 1g, so if you are having trouble breathing, I'd hate to see how you would do if you were on a jet or a rocket pulling 2-5 G's.....

Thats all in the curve.. You can easily make a 300whp Turboed car FEEL faster then a 400whp car.. a bigger variation in the power curve between RPMS will make you "feel" like you're being pushed faster.. a good daily/track (NOT DRAG) car with a correctly sized Turbo : Displacement shouldnt "feel" that much faster.

Then you eventually enter a catagory of whp where you'll get pushed in your seat but when talking about BUTT dyno.. the more aggresive curve wins but not quite so at a track.

My G will be a daily as well

+1

Area under the curve is all that matters; not peak torque or power.

^ duno..

For dyno queens they usually have an agressive set up.. Short Fat intake runners with short fat exhaust headers / down pipe.. This will result in higher HP but slower spool.. It'll give you a HIGHER PEAK (course there is an extent to this.. if your cams top out before your breating tools then you're just wasting power).. This set up isnt too usefull unless you're dragging (even then it may not be because of all the low end you loose) or doing freeway passes. You can also control the peak of the curve with the above mods.. allowing you to create a sudden HIGH peak.. or a smoother lower peak.. (high peak = you get more hp at one point.. smoother = more useable power overall - which one is faster is debateable and depends too much on other variables and conditions).

As to what everyone perfers.. thats going to be different.. whats worst is that most of the aftermarket parts out there targets peak WHP so they can advertise their gains..

OK so I wonder if mine is considered under the curve as I hit peak Trq at 4100rpm and have around 415 Hp at the same rpm.

Honestly I haven't had time to take it to the track but it feels real fun on the highway Honestly though I need a little more work like cams and external wastegates and get to that 500rwhp and probably 540trq.

Need to call Sam and book some time
