air bag on with turbonetics and utec

Has anyone had there air bag light come on after installing a Utec. I did the whole install myself and double checked the wire's behind the glove box and they seem to be ok, I also unplugged the battery over night and still unable to get the air bag light to go out. Could the utec be doing this ?

Double check the yellow wire/connector that is attached to the glove box.

yikes i suggest you just take it to someone who installed utec many times, even when my utec was installed at a dumb shop the first time, the tuner even tuned it after un-grounded, 30% use of the utec only during tune, i was detonating at high rpms too, piece of sh*t, i personally hate utec too but yeah take it to someone who installed it before, i mean unless you got it already, then for sure! good luck

Don't think it has anything to do w/ the Utec. I installed my kit w/ Utec and didn't have a problem. You could try removing the Utec to see if the light goes out.

UTEC has nothing to do with the airbag.

Do the key reset procedure and see if it comes back.
