STS turbo successsssss!
I installed this kit in my garage. I was a little frustrated in the beginning (STS sent wrong parts) but in the end I am happy w/ this kit. Like FI’ed G already stated, this kit is great for under 10psi (400whp).
As far as clearance, it’s not an issue for me. I’m lowered on 350Z H-techs and have no problems. Here are some pics that show the clearance:
1. Camera at ground level
2. Sitting at ground level
3. Kneeling on ground.

I wonder what happens if you scrape while leaving a plaza/ going up a speed bump or something
The Dyno operator didn't put any smoothening on the graph (0) so that is why it is ugly. There are many shop who like to run around 12.0-12.2 A/F and there is really nothing wrong with that as long as the timing is conservative and the car is not knocking... Rich best torque is around 11:5 and Lean best torque is around 13.1 (I think) and that is why many shop tune in the middle around 12.2 A/F. Most shop run around low 11's because they want extra safety and are willing to sacrifice power. Like the OP said the shop said his tune is the most Optimal but the problem is that he doesn't have that much room for error...
Look at 6spd pix, the piping is not even the lowest point of the car.... even the lowest point of the charge pipe is in between the rear axle so there is no way you'll scrape that coz your rear wheel will not let it happen..

Just call STS directly and try to bargain with them. There is nothing different between AT and MT kit, just make sure get the G35 version.
Also you can email this guy and tell him a fellow from my350z gave you his info.. see below.

Are you going to install this? if not then I suggest save about $1400-$1600 but this is with a Full Tune already, for just install then I say about $1000-$1300... Depend really what your shop hourly rate is. There are members here and my350z who did their own install like 6spd but you have to be patient.
