Does anyone know if the transmission line before the oil cooler can be tapped to get ATF temps? Would it be accurate or even a good thing to do? I'm trying hard not to tap my AT oil pan. Hopefully Bigc or anyone else can chime in on this.

I don't see why you should be able to run a T fitting off the line.

So I finally picked up my Vortech kit from Strafe's shop yesterday . Now I have to take some of the parts to be polished and find the time to install it in the next few weeks.

Guess I'll update this a bit.

Finally got the GTM tensioner pulley, and got to see how my gauge pod turned out.

The pod came out just the way I wanted it, thanks to R&J. I'll be heading back to R&J tomorrow to install the A/F and temp gauges, as well as partially installing the boost gauge so that all I'll have to do is hook up the vacuum lines when I install the Vortech.

I should also be picking up all my polished Vortech parts tomorrow. And if I'm not forgetting anything else, I should be good to go for starting the Vortech install on Friday night .

Nice!! Congrats on the purchase!! Will definitely help complete your whip! Gauge pod looks cool, does it restrict your vision at all?

You are going to run Osiris to tune correct?

Thanks! I haven't driven with it yet since I just left it there at R&J, but it didn't seem like obstructed very much. I'm sure it's just a matter of getting used to it.

Yup, I'm already tuned with Osiris, so I'll be going back for a re-tune.
