yeah... I'm not sure I would call Z1 a "no name company."

They're setup is probably no less than four times the size of 90% companies that you're going to do business with on here.

The price was 600.00 but that includes install and dyno pulls.. I would have to ask the shop what kind of price could they do for people thats not in the state and cant do the dyno pulls and such.

I think what Rich was saying by a no-name DS is that Z1 does not make that shaft they have someone make it for them...ma&pa's drive shaft emporium I think enough guys have them already that I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Thanks for the info Lance, I ended up getting one local...shipping from Z1 was over $200

I take it this is a reasonable upgrade? I've read up on it and it looks good- any exceptions?

Thread link comes up as invalid for me. Other than replacing yet another fully functional part, what would be the motivation for upgrading? Reducing rotating mass yet another 2%?

The overall benefit is the reduce weight savings.. meaning where you lose alot of crank HP at within your drive train. with this driveshaft, it's gonna take less effort allowing you to gain some of the HP back.
