"Service Engine Soon" light
It's been about 3 weeks since my Greddy TT kit was installed along with the FMIC and exhaust. Yesterday the "Service Engine Soon" light came on and it has been on all day. I am assuming that it is just an emissions thing ( I still have my cats in though), but I do not have an OBDII scanner to verify this. Has anyone else had this happen?

I just installed an ATI procharger with stock exhaust manifolds and have the same problem. When I hooked up the scanner it said that I was running rich in bank #2. When I did my dyno the A/F mixture read at 11.7 accross the board. My mechanic told me the light comes on because I have the stock exhaust so I order some crawford high flow cats and that should fix the problem. I hope this had shed some light on your problem. good luck.

I had it checked out and its a PO455-EVAP emission control leak. It is in the exhaust somewhere, I think right by the muffler on the passenger side exhaust where it bends above a sway bar or something.

this is a very common problem with FI cars.mainly because almost all kits are smog illegal.the sensor detected and let you know that something is not right, need to take it to the dealer.don't worry about it.from what i know,it will eventually goes away after so many times of turning the engine on and off.another word the code will reset itself sometime later.my car turboed 3 months ago and that light came on twice.both time it gone after few days by itself.i notice both time it went off after WOT.it sound stupid but go drive the car and drive it hard.good luck.
