I'd like to see how this would work with a Vortech setup. I'd hate to lose my custom Injen intake pipe but if the gains are considerable then it would be worth it.

Yeah, I'm interested in see what this will look like with what i'm assuming you are making a custom intake that you will offer as well for those who stay N/A. Then would you have maybe some custom piping for the Turbonetics S/T??

Any further pics and info?? On this and upcoming goodies??

We had some delays but we will be finishing up our testing very soon.We will be offering cold air intake piping and other various piping to work with most of the FI systems out there.

sorry for the ignorance, but what's the theory behind the extra power? what's the advantage of twin intakes? is it along the same lines of going twin turbo (low/high end)?

The twin intakes on the 300ZX (Z32) were really for the twin turbo. The single intake couldn't flow enough air to handle a high boost TT Z. However, this was only for a Z that already had the boost raised above stock, and had other intake and exhaust mods. On a stock TTZ, it didn't really do anything, as there were other intake restrictions, and it didn't need that much air.

On a N/A (normally aspirated) Z, it was pretty much a complete waste.

I would say that unless you are going turbo/supercharged on a G, twin intakes won't do much, if anything.

I have a good bit of experience with Z's; I had built a 1990 TTZ that put 415 rwhp on the dyno. Stage 5+ is what they call it; HKS boost controller at 14 PSI (9.5 is stock), twin intakes, stillen exhaust, hi flow cats, UD pulley, JWT ECU, couple of handling mods, and a nice ICE system. Kind of the route I am going now on my G. Anyways, the point I was making is that I have a bit of experience with the twin intakes, and in my opinion, they aren't a worthwhile mod unless you plan on going turbo.

agree for the most part unless ur able to build an all motor set up that flows a ridiculous amount of air @ hi rpms in conjunction w/ some pretty wild cams.. the best results would be for f/i
