I knew this was a bad idea posting those numbers without more details. Please read the other posts in this thread. This shop told me most of the Vortech's they have Dyno'd are putting down ~300-310rwhp. They had one guy put down 290rwhp and have the system removed for a APS ST.

The stock G35C/350Z's they have done are putting down ~220ish.

As I said before this Dyno runs low, my wheels did not help anything and it was hot in the bay ~90 degrees. It was about 83 outside.

The Stillen kit gave me ~85-90 crank HP over stock. (my car is the 260/260 version). They told me corrected this is making about 360 crank. Believe me it was a big, big improvement. The car has tons of torque now. I am going to go Stage 3 because I still want more as I know I would

One of these days I will put my stock wheels on and go to a mustang dyno so everyone can see I will make closer to 320rwhp. But the true test is driving it. I was not going for the big numbers, obviously... I got the Stillen... and it is the lowest peak numbers kit but it has very high under the curve numbers and that is what I wanted.

you know.... i have yet to dyno my car... but i think ttrank is right..... the numbers might be low compared to the other kits out there... but it's how the car drives and feels..... the power is immediate, and it pulls real nice....... the whine is incredible, and the hands start to sweat...... imho, the car is weaker then others that have turbo, but no matter what....... i know all i need to do is add gas and go........ no problems or headaches of do i need to tune, is the car running right, do i need all these gauges, and is my engine going to blow today? it's peace of mind and usable power is what stillen is all about........not bragging rights on who has more power..... match me up to someone with a vortech....... i'll be a very close race..... eventhough i'm giving up 50 poines to the wheel......

When you do decide to dyno go to a mustang or dynapak so we can get an idea of how different the numbers are between the types. I can sit here all day telling everyone what the shop told me but it just sounds like I am making excuses when I am not.
I am going to go Stage 3 or maybe Stage 4 eventually so I will go to another type of dyno then.

I see, so a vortech, w/ the out of the box tune will put down about 310 whp?? so these #'s ppl post w/ 360-380 w/ the vortech is at the crank, not the wheels?? Again, I am familiar w/ the #'s but dont recall if these #'s were at the crank or wheels. Reading this post has me really debating going w/ the stillen. I also like peace of mind and low maintenance. In addition that warranty is irreplaceable IMHO. That warranty only applies if you have the blower installed by an 'authorized dealer' though right?? Hmmm....now if I can start to like that hood...

it was 360/380 (and even 400) at the wheels with a good tune. but the issue is - where it hits. when that hp is outrageous, the torque drops off pretty quick.

None of the numbers I have put on here are crank. They are all at the wheels, they just seem to vary a lot between different dynos and at different temparatures. I was suprised when they told me that they had seen so many Vortech and ATI S/C's all putting down 310-330whp until I saw the numbers mine made. They the explained how since this was a certain brand and it was a 4-wheel and bla bla bla it would read low. They said for a car with my setup I would be making about 300-310 on a Mustang dyno which is where some of these Vortech's will make 350. The ones that are making upwards of 400 must be on a dynapack where the numbers are higher because the wheels are not taken into account.

sorry, my bad... yeah, the 360 (and greater) hp numbers were in reference to the vortech, or ati.

They look like the badges from the BUICK SUPERCHARGED vehicle. Forget the model.

Cersoft - Did you have the Stage 3? If so would you be willing to sell me the pulley?

Thanks

Looks to be either a docking station under it or a cooling port that you sit the laptop on. The laptop itself isn't that big.
